More Warehouse Development in Shippensburg

The Shippensburg area continues to witness continued warehouse development along the Interstate 81 corridor, at both exits, 24 and 29.  At Exit 29, the warehouse that has been under development for a few months appears to be close to finishing for occupancy soon.  The development of the Equus warehouse project also led to a reconfiguration of the roadways around the Intertstate 81 Exit 29 interchanges.

Now, along Exit 24 of Interstate 81, land clearing has begun for another massive warehouse development project.  The project will go from the Olde Scotland Road next to the new Sheetz store the whole way back to White Church Road.  I took this picture this morning of the land development project underway.

South Central Pennsylvania in general has continued to see warehouse and distribution center development projects along the valuable Interstate 81 corridor.  Let’s hope the new warehouse projects bring stead, permanent jobs with benefits.
